Lya Badgley, Adopt-a-Park Coordinator, would like to send a HUGE thank you to all the 14 Volunteers who spent three hours last Saturday pulling weeds, trimming shrubs, and spreading over 20 cubic yards of mulch and bark at Claytown Park. The park looks terrific! The soggy volunteers included:
sNOHOMISH Kiwanis members: Dennis Dinkla, Dan Rike, Mark Hintz (plus son Alex), Rod & Joan Vroman, and “superman” - Jay VanAssche. The Kiwanis has a long history with this park, as they were one of the organizations which helped create it. They turned out ready to work – with the tools we needed to get the job done!
Snohomish High School Key Club members: Carly McBride, Jeff Piause (sorry if misspelled), and Samuel Price
Adopt-a-Park volunteers: Linda McCrea, Teresa Rugg, and special thanks to Jeanne Leader and Steve Ooton who not only weeded and raked, they donated the mulch!

It was a pleasure to be a part of a successful community event such as this. Thank you again…

I’d like to send a huge THANK YOU to all those volunteers who came and painted picnic tables and benches on Saturday, August 27th.
You made a significant impact in our community and we are grateful.
